INTERNSHIP

Our osteopathic internship program affords the opportunity to rotate into various clinical areas in a hospital setting. The intern’s patient experience will begin from admission to discharge working alongside the attending physicians, advanced residents and hospital staff. The clinical areas for rotations are family medicine, ambulatory care, cardiology, emergency medicine, intensive care, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, pathology, pediatrics, psychiatry and radiology.

PODIATRY

The podiatry residency program places emphasis not only on the diagnosis and treatment of the foot pathology but also the general health and well-being of the patient. The podiatry resident receives training in family medicine, wound care, geriatrics, psychosocial skills and behavioral psychology following the tenets of the care of the total patient. The podiatry residency program provides opportunities to gather experience and exposure in general podiatric medicine and surgery skills in preparation to meet the requirements to board certification by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
