Externship Program
Externship Rotations

As part of the clinical curriculum of their hospital setting requirements, third and fourth year osteopathic students may apply to participate in the externship program at Westchester General Hospital. There are rotations available to students in educational programs in the following areas:
  • Family Practice
  • Internal Medicine
  • General Surgery
  • Psychiatry
To apply:
  • Externship request form must be filled out
  • Letter of approval from the osteopathic medical school
  • Proof of insurance coverage by the school, specialty requested
  • Dates desired
Above must be submitted to the Office of Medical Education at least one month prior to desired dates.
